Okay... so I've noticed how there has been a lot of 'challenges' on facebook lately... So i have decided to make one. :)
It's called The 30 Day Art Challenge. And it is exactly what it sounds like… thirty days of creating art.
If I’ve tagged you in this then I thought that you would be interested. And if you know anyone who would be interested then repost my note as your own and tag them in it as well. Art is for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re good at drawing, or making things, or if you're not. No one will judge you except yourself and this is a chance to have fun! :)
And you can use anything! Make things out of play-doh or with toothpicks and hot glue. Arrange your mashed potatoes into something interesting. Use pencils, paints, pastels, crayons… the list is endless! Art can be found everywhere.
RULES:
DAY 1- create yourself
DAY 2- draw a hand turkey :)…. You know those things you did in elementary school on thanksgiving? Yeah, one of those but be unique! Make a hand turkey unlike any previous hand turkey
DAY 3- create your favorite animal
DAY 4- create something abstract… don’t know what’s abstract? Look it up.
DAY 5- go into your bedroom, look out the window, and draw what you see.
DAY 6- what’s you’re favorite color? Take that color and make a rainbow with it, only using that one color.
DAY 7- days 7-14 are all about emotion. Create the way love feels.
DAY 8- create the way it feels to hate
DAY 9- create sadness
Day 10- create happiness
Day 11- create tranquility
DAY 12- create fear
DAY 13- create numbness
DAY 14- create contentment
DAY 15- lock yourself in a room, get real comfortable, turn on your favorite music and draw. Get lost in the music; let it guide your hand.
Day 16- re-create your favorite carton character
DAY 17- re-create your favorite famous artwork. Don’t have one? Google it, and find one that you really like.
DAY 18- ask someone you love something you can draw. Whatever they say, draw it. No saying “Eww, pick something else.”
DAY 19- create weather
DAY 20- create something to show admiration to those who inspire you. Whether it’s family, friends, an artist, a band, as long as it means something to you.
DAY 21- turn all the lights off, get a pencil and some paper and draw, not able to see what you’re doing.
DAY 22- draw something in one sweep. Don’t pick the pencil off of the paper at all! And no retracing a line.
DAY 23- create something not normally seen. Like your idea of heaven or hell, a dream, a place in your imagination, a trip on a hallucinogen or psycho-active drug.
DAY 24- draw something in ink. There's no way to erase what's already laid down.
DAY 25- create something that has a personal meaning to you. It doesn’t have to be obvious, as long as you know what it makes you feel.
DAY 26- draw a picture with your opposite hand. Right handed? Draw with your left. Left handed? Draw with your right.
DAY 27- make something out of crumpled up paper.
DAY 28- write out your favorite quote and decorate it.
DAY 29- find a dictionary, open it to a random page, and close your eyes and point. Whatever word you fall on you must re-create.
DAY 30- create something your proud of, something that makes you smile to know that you made it.
Have fun. :D
