Worked as a flight medic and in the ER for yrs after I got out of the service. I finally burned out, gave up the medical field and taught myself to be a stonemason. To the 241 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers that lost thier lives on the morning of Sunday, Oct 23, 1983 in Beirut Lebanon, after a sucide bomber detonated his truck in the middle of our barracks while they slept. On that black Sunday, 109 children became fatherless. During the period of 1982 to 1984, a total of 273 servicemen died while serving the United States peacekeeping mission in Beirut, Lebanon.
