I've been a widower for 14 years and emotionally I've moved on.. I'm actually older than I list here but discovered if I listed my real age most people won't look at my profile and usually people think I'm even younger than I'm listing there.. But ask me and I'll tell you..I'm 5'9 with reddish brown hair and brown eyes. I'm struggling to lose the weight I gained after my wife died and I'm about halfway to my goal.

I'm that mythical "nice guy." I really do get it.. If I tell you I'm going to call at 8, I call at 8.. If I'm 5 minutes late I apologize.. I go out of my way to help my friends. If you need something I can do I'll drop everything to do it for you. If you need to talk about it I'll listen. I understand that sometimes you just want to be held.. me too.

People also think I'm a good deal more conservative than I am.. You can't always tell a book by it's cover.. I have a definite naughty streak but I am polite and a little reserved. If I don't know someone I tend to err on the side of caution.

I find a lot of people remarking about how intelligent I look.. I'm not certain how they can tell but I pride myself on how much I know about things.. but even more I pride myself on how little I know and how much more there is to learn. If you're attracted to hot bodies I'm probably not your guy.. If you like cuddly teddy bears with hot brains.. then say hi!

I'm open to chat with anyone but learned a long time ago to keep things on the net simple. You can tell more about how well you connect with a person over a cup of coffee face to face than you can in a year of chatting online. If you live half way around the world, unless you plan to get yourself to San Francisco some time soon I'm not going to be interested in anything but a casual chat.
