I am Vexed!
I typed this out already, then there was some fatal error. POOF! Gone to the gods of lost information on the information highway. Filed with lost regrets and broken hearts.
Oh well, time for a fresh start.
About me?...Not a simple thing to sum up in words. I could go on a long philosophical rant about 'me'. Or i could do as everyone else does and list the, what i believe, to be the best qualities i have. To be honest, i think that the idiosyncrasies we all have are way more interesting! firstly, only those closest and dearest to us ever get to find out about them. Second, there are no faults, per se, in people. There is just personality, there is only who and what makes that person.
Still, i have not said anything about myself. So instead of giving my philosophies on life, people and social understandings and, godforbid, making a list of my 'qualities'; i will simply state facts about my interests and point of which i am at in my life with minor background.

hmmm this is turning into a list...
I played Ice Hockey with scholarship offers, something happen scholarships were voided. Went to Cooking school, became a chef. Cooked for 8 years. Quit work, went back to school. Got my degree in Computer Science, minoring in Creative Writing, Philosophy, Psychology and Marketing. yah...long time.
Finished school in Sept. Board Director for Vancouver SIGGRAPH, coordinator for Vancouver IGDA, Volunteer for Red Cross, Tour de Delta, VidFest. Producer of Video Games, (the boy across the street believes i make ALL games, and gets upset with me when he cant pass a level. Cute.) Writer. I began to write my novel 11 years ago, after starting to write i realized i need to build a consistent world for the novel to take place in, it needed to seem to the reader that it was an actual place. I spent the past (and i am still doing it) 8+ years building the world for my novels. First novel will be finished by summer of this year.
Society is on the path to wanting instant and absolute knowledge. The Internet, instant knowledge and a want for more. To obtain absolute knowledge. Yet, knowledge is power, and power corrupts...absolute power corrupts absolutely. Is it any wonder why there is vast amounts of corruption!? We teach for the sake of knowledge...not understanding. If you learn to understand the knowledge that you obtain, where its from, the views from all sides, the arguments against and for it, the origin and developments; well, we may just be able to negate the corruption of unearned knowledge.

Who I'd like to meet:
What an odd title. I would like to meet Leonardo (da Vinci). but i doubt if i were to meet him right now, he would be much of a conversationalist. Unless i were able to somehow interpret the scuttling of insects and worms as some form of afterlife communication.
Instead of who i would like to meet, or naming features like i am looking for a thoroughbred horse, i will state simply the qualities in all people that i like.

Understanding (The ability to see that others have their own views, thoughts, cultures...ect.)
Communication (people who bottle things up, are explosive. people that dont say or think anything....are boring)

of course, there are many more qualities like compassion and trust. I want to be with my hearts mirror.
