Nice! I play the acoustic and electric guitar. Never learned bass, but I want to sometime. Thats pretty cool! I didn't play anything in high school but piano.
Oh trust me, it is amazing to see them. I was right up against the stage too! Aw, seriously? That sucks. You should definitely travel to where they WILL go, i promise it would be worth it.
