AWAITING DEATH
For 25 years I’ve roamed on this hell you call earth, Seeking but yet to find any meaningful worth.
Is this what they want for all of us to crack, Once you’ve felt this pain there is no taking it back.
I watched as my mother suffered and died., Unable to do anything but wait and cry.
I’ve lost some good friends a few were great, But they tell me I shouldn’t feel any of this hate.
We just learn to deal with all the pain and grief, All of the while looking for just a little relief.
I miss you all and hope to see you someday, But its hard to have faith with no answers when I pray.
We try to love in the end only to lose, If this is all one big test then I’ve paid my dues.
Im throwing in my towel I want no more of this madness, Whats the point if all we get is heartache and sadness.
If you would like make this my very last breath, If not I will be sitting here awaiting my death.
