i repair electronic equipment . was a broadcast engineer . do mechanical repair (all types) . repair comps , etc .

i have been sober for 29 years and have no plans to ever go back to that sorry way of trying to die .
life is pretty much what you make it ... it may not always be the best but it is what it is ... make the best of what you have .
we are the sum of our memories and experiences and it is through these that we see the world .

honesty is always the best policy , but , there is a difference between rigorous honesty and brutal frankness ...
i try to choose my words and actions so that i will not have to apologize and make amends for them later .

am i looking for a "life partner" ?
to be honest , if the "miss/mz right" entered my life i would be a fool to not accept the trust shown in me ... it is a big responsibility to take on .
yes , i have found the right one a few times in my life . i accept the fact that i have my part in my past relationships , after all , the one thing they all had in common was me .
as my adopted grandma type land lady told me many years ago :
you can live happily ever after many times over in your life .

i like to think that i am an open person that is easy to talk with .
i will never tell someone how they should be but if their arse is up against the wall i will suggest a fix that may work .
if you ask me for advice , be prepared to hear the truth (at least as far as i know it to be) ... it is truth that will set you free .

i do have a sense of humor ... albeit sometimes warped .
i try to find the humor in things ... especially my own follies in life .
i aint perfect ... and i will never profess to be .
