BIRMINGHAM, England - Melanie Oudin of the United States won her first WTA tournament, defeating Jelena Jankovic 6-4, 6-2 Monday in the rain-delayed, grass-court final of the Aegon Classic. She beat two other seeded players on the way to the Birmingham final -- 10th-seeded Sourana Cirstea of Romania in the first round and eight-seeded Ekararina Makarova of Russia in the semifinals. She also beat Jankovic before -- during their first and only previous meeting in Wimbledon three years ago. On Monday, Oudin used a strong forehand and slice on the grass and moved well despite playing seven matches to reach the final. Jankovic struggled with concentration and movement.
