Happy Hump Day

Well, my eldest daughter made it
back from Miami in one piece ...
She did what I expected & hoped for:
Had fun & got crazy and tried her best!
She didn't get the spot in the TV show,
but got some offers for modeling gigs
(she's done many good paying gigs)
but nothing as far as national/international
"Big" Ads or famous shoots.
She's considering moving south
to pursue more chances at work
Being she gets good paying jobs here ...
but, they come sporadic & unsteady.
We'll see ... I'd like for her to succeed
at whatever she'd wants to chase,
but I selfishly prefer she stay closer
to home while Ella's so young?
Just like her others decisions -
She'll have to live & learn ...
I'll always be here to suggest and
support & help pick up the pieces.
My eldest, William (in the MARINES)
gets shipped out to the war zone
this coming August. We've been
lucky that in his first 4 years
(He reenlisted) for him being
stationed everywhere BUT the
where the fighting's been ...
I worry everyday about him ...
Do you have anyone close in the service
Hard too believe me being a
"Peace Loving Hippy" that
I actually come from a long
Storied line of military family.
Even though both sides of my parents
Families haven't been living in the U.S.
very long, Both were even in military
back in the homeland (Germany)
Yeah, My Siblings & myself broke
a long line of military tradition.
My Father was (he was the only boy)
but his sisters married into MARINES
My mother and her 2 sisters ended
up married to MARINES as well.
My son is a MARINE and
numerous family branches
that have children around
his age are in some form
of SERVICE too ...
In hindsight - I offen wish
I'd of joined the service,
I just cant imagine taking
someones life though ...
So I'm always looking to do new comments
(greetings) like ones I've never seen with
some deal of innovation and originality.
Sometimes I like them & other
times I think they're just okay ...
(they cant always be homeruns)
I kinda liked this one -
Cant say I've seen any others like it
(yet - freakin idea thieves)
Although while putting it together
I had a code messed up and sent
out a whole bunch that wasn't right
(not the first time I've done that)
I THINK I went back & change them all
