Good Morning…
The question on everyone’s mind today has to be why? Why does this continue to go on? Why do students kill other students? Another tragic event unfolded yesterday at Northern Illinois University. At or around 3:00PM a gunman open fired on a crowded lecture hall apparently a introductory geology class killing five students and later in a battle with another gunman yet to be identified was killed himself. This screams copycat of the Va. Tech incident. You know, after the Va. Tech incident I seen a blog by a person who apparently was full of information on the killings and said she understood and felt compassion towards the gunman. Stating humility and how certain students are treated for his actions. I sit here and see how some view life. They do not view it as a privilege but as a sacrifice they have to make. They often refer to others causing their actions and the blame should be on the victims of the shootings due to the fact they treated that person or other persons badly. You see the tragedy begets tragedy. The old saying an eye for an eye be damned! They do not want just one eye, they want many eyes…Where do we turn, how do we correct a fault, what causes a scratch to turn into cancer…? Some will blame it on violence in TV, Movies, War, Religion, ethnic Cleansing… Does making stiffer gun laws take care of the problem? Does metal detectors help? I have often heard of things like I wish we could un-invent… But we can’t we have to go forward and hope learning from our past will protect our future. I am adding in a blank two sentence line, it will appear as a pause in my writing or to some a small break between paragraphs…
Use it as a moment of silence for the victims of all these senseless tragedy’s that continue to plague our society. I can safely say one will sooner or later be closer then we all wish it was, please take a moment to honor those that have fallen…

I do not have the answers, but wish someone did. I would surely vote, donate and back 100% their efforts to build a better place for us, ours and everyone’s wellbeing.
This is never easy to write about nor is it how I like to blog on Friday’s but I can recall doing similar writings a few times before. Education is the key, and then we have to protect those that are being educated. If creating a structured society where those who bully, stereotype and belittle others would be punished so they would not attempt that fault again would help then let’s pursue it. I am out of answers. I rest my case and hope the weekend brings happier events your way and mine.
