Ok yall, I will keep this one short sweet and to the point. Why is it when yall dial 911 at 2-3am you expect everyone responding to help you to always be happy and exstatic to see you. I am constantly being told by people that when EMS arrives at the door at night they are never in a good mood or may ot be quite as nice as expected. Well folks let me give you an insight into our brains....WE ARE HUMAN. Now put yourself in our shoes its 2am you have been running all day and yet another call comes in waking you from your 2min nap to risk your life running lights and sirens cross town, through the weaving and careening morons to finally arrive at a house you have been to ten times before. Oh wait the fun doesn't stop there because now its time to play the guessing game. (Thats right yall called us but god forbid you be able to tell us why) So now after 20 mins of questions and drunken answers we arrive to the conclusion that you have no idea why you called so we start treating for any of the common possibilities just to be safe. To which you complain and scream about with the god knows how many different drinks on your breath strong enough to raise the dead usually accompanied with you also sharing these drinks in regurgitated form all over us. But wait more happiness waits around the very next bend because as we get going to the hospital of your choice (usually across town past three perfectly good ones) you decide to start pulling IV's, removing any needed bandages or monitor patches and basically causing all kinds of craziness because who knows maybe you got bored, so now we redo it all while bouncing down the road at 65mph. Finally we get you to the hospital only for you to tell the doctor you feel fine an want to go home. Only to go home and repeat the cycle over again. Now how cheery would you be in our shoes. Don't judge us on our happy smiles and appearence just be glad we are there
