Alright, check it....say your in love....madly. But there are just some times when you need to be left alone and your significant other doesnt understand that because they can handle being with you 24-7. Your stressed out because you need to find a job, your stressed out because your roommates are ALWAYS fighting, and pile on the significant other and the worry that, they dont mean to but, they add on, is he/she happy enough? Is he/she hungry? Is he/she worried that I'm not paying attention enough even though your trying to focus on the things you NEED to do? The worries just keep going on and on and on! Yet when you ask for a few days apart they freak out and think your being selfish and cruel. Yes, they are leaving in 3 weeks and you will rarely see each other over the course of the next 2 years, but do you have to grovel at their feet 24 hours a day? 7 days a week? Then they post a bulletin asking for help with a decision......so that's what I'm doing........cuz I really really really need the help.
So here it is....
Do you drop everything, put your life on hold to see to his every need?
Or do you remember that you have to come first and if he/she doesnt understand that then he/she needs to pack up their shit and hit the highway? |
