This is what bugs me more than anything:
I'm at work and I walk past a coworker's desk when they say something to me. I ask "what did you say?" and they repeat it very slowly like I'm deaf or even worse, slow in the head if you know what i mean. They did it to me twice yesterday. I knew she was having a bad day, but this is a sensitive thing to me, so I knew if she did it a third time, she was going to have a worse day. Anyway, I very politely asked her to not do it and she was cool with it.
My husband used to do that to me until i let him have it with both barrels. He wouldn't say a word to me until i left the room and that's when he chose to say something. Naturally i didn't hear him because I'm on the other side of the freaking house. He then accuses me of being deaf and proceeds to talk very loud and slow. |
