Long story, abridged - A very close friend was on the brink of suicide, and they wanted my advice. I recommended for them to check into the pyschiatric hospital since the situation was so dire.
They did not get the help they needed, have repercussions with their job and other areas of their life due to being admitted for a week.
Because of my recommendation, he now hates me and he and wants nothing to do with me again, ever. I feel horrible, but was I wrong to recommend that? |
