| An ex boyfriend passed away suddenly last week (heart attack), and while we hadn't seen each other in forever, we remained friends and talked occasionally. I was truely happy for him in his new relationship, glad he was happy. I sent a condolence letter to his new girlfriend and she totally ripped me apart.... put it on a blog and blasted me. I didn't think what I said was out of line, just trying to tell her I felt for her, and was sorry for her pain. Should I send another message back letting her know that I never meant to add to her pain, or try and belittle it, but that I was just trying to lend comfort, or should I just chalk it up to grief and let it go? |
