I've sometimes been thinking about vegetarianism
and wether I would like to change my diet or not.
Came to the conclusion I will sofar stay with
eating meat, mainly because I like the taste.
I'm aware of what I'm eating (an animal that
has been killed) and I have no ethical or
emotional problems with it. In war-times I
might very well be able to kill my own food.
But there are other reasons to change diet too -
like the big-scale industry, the hormones,
the landuse (rainforest cut down for soyaplantations
in South America) - environmental reasons are
important to me.
But I think this can mostly be solved
by buying local produced meat.
Which are your thoughts around meat-eating/vegetarianism?
