today is a sad day for all of us. for some its even more sad then it might be to others. i remember coming back from class on this day in 2001 my roommate told me not to turn off the news. i called my mom as i watched and was talkin to her about everything going on. it was sad. my roommate at the time had parents who worked on a base so she was scared. in chapel that day we were told we could stand up and pray outloud if we wanted to. so i did. i ask God to help my roommate in her time of fear i asked Him to watch over those who were scared and lost and for the families of all who had passed. my roommate when home that night to be with her family. well school was out and life went on. a year came around and i had started a job at a daycare. my mom and i took my dad to the doctor to take a sleep test. thats when we got the news of my aunt and cousin. we were told at the time that my cousin (3yrs of age) got out of her carseat (they can do that) and my aunt turned around still driving was tryin to tell her to get back in her seat. then my aunt turned around and didnt see the car before her stop in time so into the back of it she went. my cousin we were told by my aunt came flyin up hit the dash and broke her neck. that happen on a monday. they had her on a ventilator from that night until that wed. 9/11/02. a year after everything that had happen. they took her off and she passed on. her parents thought about it and signed the papers for her organs to be used. we found out later that a child in New York had gotten her eyes. when i heard of this i thought WOW! as much as it hurt loseing her it was good to know she could still the world through anther child. the sad thing to the end of this real life store is my aunt lied to us about how everything happen. that hurt most of all. but look at how things can turn out. most of the time good things come out of something so bad. we came together and cried on 9/11/01. we worked together to help others get over the hard times as best as we could. dont forget that even if someone has passed that somewhere out there they r watchin over us.
