I have an alarming number of friends and family who are on the "i love guns and haterade more than I give a poop about people" side of things. This is devastating, scary and heartbreaking to me. You know. No one ever wants to believe their people are the "bad guys". But the majority of my people are the bad guys. This is a reality that unfortunatley a lot of us are dealing with right now. But things have gotten too serious to just shove the issue under the carpet.. If you are a friend or family member of mine who embraces all the Trump/GOP/NRA sanctioned violence and hate and rhetoric, I am sorry I can no longer support you or call you my own. You gotta start taking shit more seriously, and that is the bottom line.
And don't give me that tired old worn out line: "guns don't kill people, people kill people." Really Cletus? How long did it take you to figure that one out? Yes. People kill people... with guns!

👏 Safety👏Not👏 banning👏 guns👏. Gun👏 Safety👏. What is so hard about that? And if you think playing around with your little killing machine is a quaint little hobby, then yes, I suppose it is a mental health issue on your part isn't it? "oh sure cletus, let's go kill animals and possibly a person today, that sounds like fun."
Because the truth of the matter is, America's obsession with guns is disgusting. It's one thing to have a gun and know how to safely use it. The obsession with owning multiple military grade assault weapons and not giving a shit who has access to them, is another thing entirely... and this is the problem we are talking about when it comes to gun safety. Nobody is going to come for your second amendment rights. But if we don't get a handle on things, someone will come for your kid at their school... with an AR-15. Is that what you want to allow?
