My friend just called me and said he got into a head-on collision with a 16 year old boy. Everyone was okay, but it completely totaled the front end of my friend's car. The road he was turning on was a one way and he turned the wrong way resulting in slamming into my friend. My friend tried to stop, but the boy was going too fast. When the police asked what happened, the boy said he didn't know it was a one way street. Mind you, his mother was in the car with him and she told the police she wasn't paying attention.
My question is, do you think 16 is too young to drive? I think it's too much responisiblity for a teenager to have. There are too many accidents in my neck of the woods by teen drivers. |
