The White Stripes have called off their entire UK tour, just days after they pretty much canceled their US tour. The band announced on Tuesday that drummer Meg White was "suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time. We hate to let people down and are very sorry.'"
Sorry to hear about Meg's panic disorder. It must be tough touring with her ex-brother or ex-husband Jack White, or whatever he is, along with his wife and twp young kids.
Garrett Hedlund fans are about to be blessed again as the 23-year-old heartthrob returns this weekend to play bad boy Billy Darley in Kevin Bacon's disturbing new thriller "Death Sentence."
Garrett, who had to gain 30 pounds and shave his head for the role, says: “Playing a bad guy is fun. You get to unleash a little bit more, dive into your bad conscience. It’s really kind of therapeutic.â€
The eye patch has been passed on to a new generation. Variety announced yesterday that Gerald Butler (Leonidas in "300") will take over the Kurt Russell role of Snake Plissken in a remake of John Carpenter's classic futuristic thriller "Escape From New York."
Former "The View" hostess Star Jones has finally admitted what has long been rumored: that she did indeed have gastric bypass surgery in August of 2003. She tells Glamour magazine why she couldn't fess up before about her massive weight loss: "Lying was never an option for me, so I called it a 'medical intervention,' which was true. But it was really a pathetic attempt to tell the only truth I could handle at the time."
Britney Spears is officially a single woman again. Her divorce from dancer Kevin Federline has been completed, the star’s lawyer has confirmed.
"Everything is finalised," Laura Wasser told press at Los Angeles‘ Superior Court.
As well as the divorce, a settlement over custody of the pair’s two sons was also approved by the court. Spears is “OK†with the undisclosed terms of the settlement, Wasser said, but "would like to be with her kids more".
Heather Mills-McCartney could receive a record $143m (£70m) as part of her divorce settlement from husband Sir Paul McCartney.
It’s reported Mills could also receive around $7m annually until the pair’s daughter, Beatrice, turns 18.
The payout would be the largest in British legal history, dwarfing the $98m (£48m) an insurance magnate was forced to pay his ex-wife last year.
Paris Hilton is friends again with Lindsay Lohan and recent pics show the two almost friendly. Amazing that Hohan would forgive Paris for the whole Greasy Bear video last year when the Firecrotch comment came up, but Hohan has apparently been forgiven for dating Hilton's ex Stavros Niarchos.
