First things first, I know its been a while since I've done one of these things, and I have so much I want to share with you all. I do apologize for being gone cuz I know you all have been worried about me and wondering how I have been doing. I do appreciate all of the emails and well wishes from all of my friends though and I love the hell out of all of you guys.
I do have some wonderful news to share with you all. Now most of you know that for as long as I can remember, my passion has always been computers, well after all of the years of searching and hoping, all of the lousy jobs for less that lousy pay, I finally got my break. I got hired as an Information Systems Support Specialist (aka Computer Tech) for a casino in Lemoore, which is like 45 min from where I live. I found out about the position through a job fair they were having. I applied for several positions that day but the IS position was the one that caught my eye. I had 3 interviews for that position and got hired, drug tested, and fingerprinted on the spot! I do still have to wait for the background check to go through so I can get my gaming license but everything looks great so far. I am still overjoyed because for one I don't have to move away from my family to get the job I have always wanted my whole life, and I will be getting paid a lot of money to do it. I am so very happy I could just burst. The smile hasn't left my face since I got the good news. Anyway I just wanted to share this awesome news with you all, so you can all share in my joy and wish me luck as I get ready to start my dream career!
