MY PARENTING SKILLS
( This I have to Get OFF my CHEST )
So you all are aware I have two little Girls , and They can be a handful ( like all kids ) But there is a certain person in my life THAT insists on tellin me HOW TO RAISE MY KIDS , What Im doing Wrong and How to Correct them. And the WORST part is this PERSON - Does NOT have Children. ( No offense to anyone of my friends that dont have kids, This is NOT about any of YOU !! )
This Person keeps saying "If they were my kids, they would not be goin to bed past 8pm" or " Theyre Homework would be done as soon as they get home from school" -- Let me just say - All kids are different , and IF youve never been a parent or have spent 24/7 with a child , you should NOT be tellin me what to do with MY KIDS and how PERFECT my kids would BE if they were yours. They are Not yours they are MINE and I will do with my kids as I see FIT . Not How you or anyone else thinks they should BE .
Now considering I am a Single Mom and am trying my best with what I have I think My girls are turning out just FINE, They both get good grades in school , their teachers adore them and they are LOVED . They May be picky eaters , whiny at times and make me wanna pull my hair out (Sometimes) But they are MINE and I adore them and they make me laugh, I truly could NOT imagine my life without them .
Anyway my point of all this is - IF youve never been in someones situation , Dont make it seem as though you would DO SO MUCH BETTER.
