A beautiful dream I had last night,
I saw a shimmering sea and a deep blue sky,
You and I hand-in-hand as we walked along the beach,
Along a stretch of white sand as far as our eyes can reach.
While watching the sun setting over the west,
And listening to the oceanic symphony playing at its best,
Our hearts tuned to its romantic harmony,
The melodies of our love forever enchanted the Autumn Sea.
I saw us standing on top of a mountain,
You in my arms as we gazed upon billion distant suns,
Littering the sky on a pitched dark summer night,
Our hearts and minds surrendered to the universe’s might
Riding the tender wind my love whispered to your heart:
“No force in the universe could tear us apart.
And as long as there were stars in the sky
My heart forever wanted you to be mine”
I saw us sitting on a small patch of green pasture
Your head resting on my chest in moments of pleasure
The fragrances of nearby spring flowers filled the air
Weaving sweetly with the aroma from your soft silky hair
The birds continued to throw love songs to the breeze
As rays of hopes streamed magically through the trees
Tranquillity seemed to temporarily put time on a hold
Allowing our hearts to reveal many loves untold
I saw us cuddling in front of a fireplace,
In the middle of a cold winter night our love embraced
Snarling and growling winds let loose their intention
Hurling hails and thunders marked their intervention
But to no effect when our two worlds finally became one
And wild emotions ruptured like a fissure of black sun
No matter how nature tried to stretch its might
The fires of our love warmed us throughout the night
Suddenly I woke up and realised it was just a dream
But how very real everything had seemed
Was it really a dream or could it be a reality?
Could we have been brought together by destiny?
Oh, please make my dreams come true
For life is beautiful, not without you
