Sometimes I sit back and wonder why some people weren't spared a life filled with great pain and suffering. Most of the pain and suffering is self-inflicted! Yes I'm referring to the stupid people! I know some of you are saying "Bear be nice" and "Bear you shouldn't call people names", but I have had enough of it!!!. For example, in the army most pieces of equipment have instructions written on them or the packaging (w/ diagrams). You will always have someone standing there you can not grasp the simple concept of "take object A and object B and attach them with one red pin provided". Today after being stuck in traffic for 2 hrs (that is another blog) I stopped a the local 7/11 to get a Slurpie. As I wait in line to purchase my tasty beverage, there is a man in line about to pay for his purchases. This man took the simplest of tasks and turned it into the building of the pyramids! Someone please tell me what is so hard about swiping your card and pushing yes or no for a credit card purchase of $4.95(again the stupid monster rears it's ugly head)and signing the little screen? This was a 25 to 30 year old man, and I'm sure he has mad a purchase or two w/ his credit card being that it was tattered and worn. I'm I being to hard on the guy? Maybe he was having the worst day of his life ? To hell with that! He is just plain 'ol STUPID!!! The common sense fairy said screw it and past him by. And you might ask "Bear what makes you say that", Anyone that pays for a pack of cigarettes ($4.95) w/ a credit card (not a debit card)is not bright to begin with. Then he takes a 30-45 second menial task and destroys it put the olive in my martini. He should be put out to pasture and left to graze w/ the other homo stupidus. If you think I'm right I want to hear it. If you think I'm wrong, I'll hear that too.
