I need to vent. I know this isn't a blog, where venting might be more appropriate, but I don't care. I'm going to want to know what people think on the matter at hand.
Which is: I'm a single father. My ex and I have a four month old daughter. It hasn't been easy, but what makes it harder is that I'm going through a rough patch right now and while she says she understands it, I don't think she does. Shes making threats about me not seeing my daughter, taking me to court for child support when I don't have a pot to piss in right now, and other shit that doesn't warrant talking about. And all because things aren't going her way right now, she has to kick me when I'm down.
I'm not a saint; far from it, but what I am, I know with all my heart, is a good father. My kids come first, always. I don't think I deserve her spitefulness. I need time to get back on my feet, and she is holding that against me. It's frustrating.
What makes this a mumm is this; I want to hear from single dads out there, either in the same situation or one simular. Ladies, you can comment too and give me your opinion. So here it is. Should I...
A) Fight her tooth and nail and not worry about hurting her feelings or burning any bridges.

B) Fight her but be civil about it, and try to keep things cool and calm. |
