My name is Kayla, but you can call me Silver Fae. That's my magickal name (yes, I'm Pagan). I was born April 11, 1988. That makes me 18 years old for all of those that failed Math class. I was born and raised in Georgia. I can hardly wait to leave. I absolutely hate it here. I think it's because I've been here so long. I hope to be leaving the state of Georgia (and the South) within the next year and a half. I don't know where I will be going, but I can't wait to get there.I'm heartbroken and I'm jaded, but I try not to let that affect me much. Especially now that I have found true love. (Or at least the closest to it I've ever experienced.) My fiance is wonderful. I love him with all of my heart. And he feels the same away... just ask him. (His name is Rast on here.)I'm a very open-minded individual. Perhaps too much so. I love meeting and getting to know new people. I love making good, quality friends. So, naturally, I think the concept of friends and family is interchangeable. If you are my friend, you are a part of my family. Yes, it takes a lot to enough my trust and love, but it's worth it. Once you have it, it's hard to destroy. Just the same, though, once it's going, it's hard to get back. The point is, though, is that I would do anything for my family and friends. Including die for them. They mean the world to me and I won't let anyone destroy that.I don't fit into any one of your pretty little labels. I'm so many different things at once, so the only thing you can classify me as is me. I'm truly myself. I don't dress, act, or listen to a certain type of music to impress anyone or to conform to some standard set by some moron. I dress in jeans and tee-shirts mostly. I wear a lot of black. I act like myself. I don't try to impress anyone. I couldn't care less about what you think. You will either love me or hate me. There's no grey area there. I listen to music that I like. Whether it's Rock, Punk, Metal, R&B, or whatever doesn't matter. If I like it, I'll listen to it. Music is my life. It's my saving grace. Music is my escape. If music can't help me through something, chances are... I'll never get through it. I don't try to be Emo or Gothic (or Gothlick as my drama friend says). I don't try to be a Punk or a Rocker. I am what I am. Who cares about labels and silly shit like that? Call me a Poseur if you want, like I said, I don't care.I'm an Artist. Art is my passion, my reason for breathing. I want a career in Art. It doesn't really matter which field... Photography, Graphic Design, Web Design, Music, Creative Writing... as long as I'm expressing myself.I know that you will draw your own conclusions before you know me. It doesn't bother me. I've had a rough life, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. My life has shaped me into the person I am today. While I may hate who I am from time to time, I will never let someone else put me down. I guess you could say that I'm a complex person. I wouldn't want it any other way, though. I love being the person that no one can figure out. Especially when they know that they'll never figure me out, but for some reason, they can't stop trying. So, come on and try to figure me out.
