I work for a lawfirm where two of us paralegals handle the case load for one of the partners in the firm. My boss has approximately 90 cases. However, I'm handling 68 of those cases and the other paralegal 22. I've gone to my boss several times about the caseload being unfairly distributed and he has done nothing. Last Friday he tells me that since I'm so overwhelmed he is sending me off to go work for two associate attorneys. Basically giving me a demotion. He would rather send me somewhere else than just split the caseload. I'm really confused and hurt by his response since I've been working with him or almost three years.
So my question is should I quit or just go with the flow? |
