| My heart was broke today, my two Siberians had thier check up today ..rabies ect..and the box of heart worm meds had expired, and I didnt know it until last month. I asked the Vet to check them for heart worm and both of them have Heart worm. These dogs are part of our family for almost ten years. The vet said that they would have to be tested to see if they could even take the treatment ..because of thier ages. If they get the treatment, nothing saying they will survive it. The main problms is they would have to be crated the rest of thier lives to be kept inactive..hat would kill them..cux they love running ect.. but I dont know if I should just let them live out life until they get sick and life is not good, them put them down, or try the treatment anyway? I am really sad about this. No experience with Heart worm, I never thought they could get it on the meds. Yeah..let them try the meds, Nay let them live the rest of thier lives, cuz they act ok now..just old, until they get to sick and put them down? |
