This is one of my favorite poems I wrote back then. I recall it was a writing assignment for English class, I believe Junior year in high school. He woke up covered in mud and lying in a ditch. "What was that all about?" he said rubbing his stiff neck. The man looked around trying to figure out where he was, where was the nearest frob root and most unsettling of all why he was face down in a ditch. He tried think back to the last thing he remembered... "Wait a minute I can't remember anything" He shook his head trying to regain his wits. Nothing. "What could be so wrong with a man that he can't even remember his own name" He got up off the ground taking a second to brush some of the drier mud from his clothes and face. He took a close look at the ground to see if anything had fallen from his gear. Finding nothing of interest he started walking down the road to the east, lost in thoughts. Two hours later he came to bridge crossing over a small brook. Two feet passed the other side of the bridge before he came out of his scattered thoughts and realized he was walking away from water. He finished stuffing everything else into the pack before turning to face the shirt again. His emotions started to rise again but he forced them down without being overtaken another time. If he could steal from someone like this, why was it he was able to breakdown afterwards. He grabbed the shirt and put it in the pack in one swift motion, buckling the buckle and closing his emotion temporarily along with it. The shirt would be a masterful piece of armor if it could provide the amount of protection it appeared to offer. The shirt allowed for any amount of movement imaginable with it's many links. The material was unidentifiable, far to fine to be mythril, and much lighter too. The dark blue gave the shirt an unearthly look, it's lightness and smooth texture led to the same idea.

The road he had been following along gave the appearance that it was it was often traveled by many people. It was wide enough to allow teams of horse drawn carts to travel in both directions at the same time. The road today however had been entirely devoid of people save for Eargrif. This fact had not escaped his attention after the sun had risen high into the sky and he had not seen any other travelers on the road. The world had been silent since he had left the bridge, animals seemed not exist. Grass and trees to the sides of the road were the only signs of life on this deserted countryside. "There must be a bridge out somewhere up the road” Eargrif thought “Why else would this road not be used." The light from the morning sun reflected off the thin ice that had broken under the weight of Eargrif's boots as he passed between two boulders half again his height. The road that had been there the night before had become lost in the mud and partially frozen puddles that now covered the world around him. The cloak retained Eargrif's body heat keeping him comfortably warm in spite of the constant wind. It was this reason that made Eargrif believe it was too warm for him to have to worry about ice, until he slipped down a small hill. Ear Infections
My son is going to have to have surgery and get tubes put into his ears. He has had like 15 ear infections in the past year. His pediatric dont want to refer me to the Childrens hospital so I went over his head and got a doctor at the clinic to give me the damned referal cause my lil man has an ear infection like every month. So we will hear something in the next few weeks of what the doctors at the Childrens Hospital are going to do. I'm worried about him but I know that in God's hands he will be okay. Early Morning Drug Raid
At 3:00 a.m. April 01, 2006 in Weedstown, MS officials surrounded a home with helicopters, and drug enforcement teams. The previous day during a fly over the DET detected abnormal amounts of thermal heat inside the home of the suspect. The Earth Moves Beneath me Okay so for those you of you who don’t watch the fucking news, I suppose I will fill you in on my fucking day. Ahhh!!!! Okay it all started with a horrible wake up call @ 7am, we had a huge earthquake wake us all. It came out to about a 6.6 on the rector scale on the big island of Hawaii, Oahu felt the aftershock of it which came out to about a 5.8. Still it was pretty strong and not to be taken lightly, but needless to say as quickly as it began it ended. Shortly after the quake was over our power went out. Now for those of you who know me …this has happen already to us, but this time it wasn’t just the base. The whole island went powerless, I just regain power about an hour ago and I’ve been answering all the mail for those of you who do watch the news. 1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 c nuts 1 8 oz cream cheese 1 c coconut 1 stick margarine 1 box confectionary sugar Prepare 11x5 cake pan. Sprinkle nuts and coconut in bottom of pan. Every year I go out with a trash bag and gloves. This year it didn't take me long to fill my bag. The creek's banks are covered in broken alcohol bottles and clothing. Gross. It makes me wish people were not such selfish idiots. When I was ten years old I was walking around barefoot in some mud and stepped on glass. My wound became impacted with mud and rocks. I ended up in the emergency room, getting six stitches, being on crutches for two weeks, and six months later two pebbles spat out of my foot in a very painful way. If that jerk had not thrown a bottle into the mud, I would have avoided the whole thing. I have an itchy scar on the bottom of my foot to remind me of how gross human beings are. So imagine now, if you will, what a difference it would make if everyone went out and filled a bag of trash today. You can sing a John Lennon song now if you want.

Just had a light earthquake just big enough to feel for a few seconds. It occurred at 10:29 AM (PDT) today, Sunday, September 2, 2007. The magnitude 4.7 event occurred 8 miles(13 km) WNW of Lake Elsinore, CA. Which is due east of where I live here in Anaheim, CA and approx 30 + miles away. The hypocentral depth is 2 miles (2 km). It was a sharp shake, followed by a few seconds of a 'sliding motion'... trust me, they all have different feels to them! This was extremely minor and just one of those you stop, then shrug and go about your day kind of quakes. Trust me, we like these :) and nothing like a hurrican or tornado, and even if a quake is a bad one, they are years in between and still, tornados and hurricanes are every year swathing a path of destruction.

For those of you close to Il, Ky, and In. This morning you felt an earthquake about 4:36am according to the USGS. This Earthquake's epicenter was centered 5 miles ENE of Bellmont Il it was a 5.4 magnatude.. This one was felt as reports come in, 15 states away, as far north as Canada!! The second one came about 10:14am 6 miles ENE of Bone Gap Il. This one was a 4.6 magnatude. I was sitting in class and felt this one too. I have felt both of them thus far. As most of you know that live in the Walbash and Mississippi valleys that we were due an earthquake 16 years ago in 1992. However that never happened.
