I wish I could no longer feel sadness. I’ve always been the “emotional” one in my family and it bothers me. I wish that things don’t get to me and make me upset so easily. But it’s part of me, I just wish that it’s not the number one emotion that I have. I suffer from Clinical Depression and I have the medicine for it, but it only does so much. I’m at home taking care of my mother and I have to put her needs before mine and it makes me sad like I didn’t sign up to be her caretaker for the rest of my life. Two of her biological children don’t even call or check in on her which makes me sad, so when the day that she finally passes away they won’t ever have the chance to say what they need to say.

What gives me “inner peace”? I don’t know really. Maybe if I was living in a house By a lake that would definitely give me inner peace.  But until then I’ll never truly know what inner peace feels like.

Personally, I’m not a trendsetter, neither is anybody else in my social circle. All of us are unique in our own way; with our fashion choices and our ideas.  Even in High School, I wore clothes that were comfortable to me and didn't care what others thought. To this day I still don’t care what others think of my outfits or my ideas, they’re not the ones wearing them. I recently bleached my hair and my mother ( whom I care for ) doesn’t like it, I told her I don’t care, as long as I love it that’s all that matters.
