As my mother reached retirement age and my father was gone she's alone with us kids out of the house. She wanted something to keep her busy and she got involved with internet gaming. She started with Team Fortress Classic and got involved with a community and joined a clan etc. She then moved to World of Warcraft with most of the same group of people. The problem was, she was pretending she was me when interacting with these guys because she believed men got more respect in the gaming world.
She's told me a lot about what she's heard and seen, and one of the guys actually was in town for a golf tournament and wanted to have some drinks with her... him... me. She asked me to pose as her posing as me. and meet the guy. I declined. She even asked me to keep it all a secret after her death.
My question is, should I keep my mouth shut or publish a book? |
