Drowning hopes
The cold dead earth beneath my feet,
the empty hearts that long to beat,
twisted minds in search of games,
futile thoughts for madness blames.
Salty tears that fail to fall,
deafened ears my echoed call,
finding fear in friendly faces,
lost and lured in familiar places.
Softened speach with razor tips,
the unformed words upon your lips,
warming breath a whispered diss,
sunken depths my own abyss.
