1. I was born and raised in New York, I have served in the Army in South Carolina, Virginia and Texas.

2. I have been in foster care until I was 3 1/2 years old.

3. I had 2 children who passed away after their birth. I miss them as much as I do my mother.

4. I don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I can't stand cigarette smoke.

5. I have been called "Little Luther" because of my singing voice in comparison to the legendary Luther Vandross.

6. I am a HUGE wrestling fan. I've been watching it loyally for 31 years now.

7. 7 is my lucky number since I was born on the 7th day in February and the Lord rested on the 7th day after creating Heaven and Earth and everything in it.

8. It may sound cheesy, but I don't care. I have the greatest woman in the world.

9. I wanted to be a singer growing up. I still do.

10. I am a huge fan of Hulk Hogan. There's just something about the Hulkster everytime he speaks or just makes an appearance in the ring that gets me hyped up!

ONE MORE THING! I love this movie: "Berry Gordy's 'The Last Dragon'" I can quote every line from the character "Sho Nuff". lol.

It's Mother's Day Today And You're No Longer Here. I've Missed You So Much These Past Few Years. I Know You're In A Better Place And Free From All The Pain. A Different Christmas Poem The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep, Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep. In perfect contentment, or so it would seem, So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream. The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near, But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear. Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow. My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear, And I crept to the door just to see who was near. Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night, A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight. A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old, Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold. Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled, Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child. "What are you doing?", I asked without fear, "Come in this moment, it's freezing out here. Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve, You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve. For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift, Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts, To the window that danced with a warm fire's light Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right, I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night." "It's my duty to stand at the front of the line, That separates you from the darkest of times. No one had to ask or beg or implore me." "I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me. My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December,' Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers." "My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ', And now it is my turn and so, here I am. I've not seen my own son in more than a while, But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile" Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag, The red, white, and blue... an American flag. "I can live through the cold and the being alone, Away from my family, my house and my home." "I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet, I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat. I can carry the weight of killing another, Or lay down my life with my sister and brother." Who stand at the front against any and all, To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall." "So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright, Your family is waiting and I'll be all right." "But isn't there something I can do, at the least, "Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast? It seems all too little for all that you've done, For being away from your wife and your son." Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret, "Just tell us you love us, and never forget. To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone, To stand your own watch, no matter how long." "For when we come home, either standing or dead, To know you remember we fought and we bled. Is payment enough, and with that we will trust, That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."

I thought my first Thanksgiving would be the best I would ever have. On that day, this kid who suffered from malnutrition, who knew nothing of what a Thanksgiving dinner was, let alone what the Thanksgiving holiday was about got an education. For the last few years after my mother passed, the only thing I had close to the Thanksgiving dinner my mother made was when my sister made it after my mother passed away. So I have a new family. They have welcomed me with open arms and I accepted it. More evident of their acceptance of me was not only having me to help them out (cleaning up, cracking a few eggs for Deviled Eggs, etc.), but I was honored when I was asked to carve the turkey. Before I could say yes, I stepped away and I cried like a baby! I didn't know how to take it other than the honor it was given. I stopped, and I thanked God for blessing me with this family. You really have no idea what it means to be a rich man when you do not have a penny to your name. Money may make the world go 'round, but it's family that stabilizes your world. As I'm writing these words, I'm trying to fight back tears because I am the happiest that I have ever been. To my Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ, I thank you for blessing me time and again. I don't deserve all that you have given me, yet you continue to bless me. I thank you, I worship you and I magnify you Holy name. Amen. To my wife, I thank you for loving me and receiving my love. To Pretty Princess and your children, you guys are amazing. I appreciate you all and love you all. Here's a Thanksgiving lesson for everyone to remember: If you have a family--not necessarily Mom, Dad, brother, sister, etc., but those who are close to you that you can call your family, those who really care about you and you about them, you are rich. I learned that lesson on this day of Thanksgiving and I am so glad I did.

WHO IS HE? HE IS JESUS! JOIN ME AND LET'S CELEBRATE HIM; HE IS WORTHY. THE EYES BEHOLDING THIS MESSAGE SHALL NOT BEHOLD EVIL, THE HAND THAT WILL SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYBODY SHALL NOT LABOR IN VAIN, AND THE MOUTH SAYING AMEN TO THIS PRAYER SHALL SMILE FOREVER. REMAIN IN GOD AND SEEK HIS FACE ALWAYS. AMEN. IN GOD I'VE FOUND EVERYTHING! The Greatest Man in History Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him.. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us! If you believe in God and in Jesus Christ His Son...
