I have met someone online, here at Fubar. We exchanged IMs and begun to talk here and there. After some time, admittedly, I began to feel for this woman. I don't know how in the hell it happened. Just one day during my waking, I thought of her which brought a smile to my face.
Now what is it about the whole online thing... I suppose it helps those who have a hard time talking to women/men face to face, shy people. I believe it also gives you a look into their personality a lot closer, without their outer selves hindering your opinion.
Now, when we talk, I can't help the grins. I feel that happiness creeping up inside. There's something going on, which kind of scares me, but I welcome it nonetheless. Of course, it would involve a trip to see that person, which I have no problem doing at all.
One nice thing about Fubar, is that it helps deter the fake pictures. Salutes were one hell of an addition.
It's hard to tell a friend or family member that you met someone you have never even seen in person, but have such a strong feeling towards them. An inside connection with their personality. I mean, attractiveness is one thing, but only a small part of the big picture.
So finally my question... Should I forget about it and go on with my life as if nothing was there, or take a chance or risk and go those extra miles to meet someone I think I'm slowly falling for (I have a feeling that's what is happening to me)? |
