| I'm tired of a lot of things in the area where i live. Within the next year, I'm planning on traveling the country. 3 to 6 months in different towns with different jobs til i find someplace that suits me. someplace that suits who i am and an environment that i will be comfortable in. I'm going to buy a new car( looking at a 73 jeep commando, less computer in the car will make it easier to fix, plus 4 wheel drive for going wherever i need to) and selling off everything i own. All the belongings i will keep will be what will fit in the trunk. what i do have will be updated, like my desktop computer will be sold and will be replaced with a powerful laptop, my netbook to be replaced with an Ipad, a weeks worth of clothes for work and a few nicer sets for whatever. anything i need can be gotten on the road(replacing clothes and whatnot). as far as places to live, most motels nowadays let you rent by the week or month and turns out cheaper than an apartment, especially when you include power, water, cable and internet. also, plenty of rooms have a kitchenette if not at least a minifridge and microwave. its not going to be glamorous. Im not expecting it to be. but it will make it easier to find my place in this world. Im even thinking of setting up a website so that i can do like a net show to keep people updated with video of the places im at and whatever adventures will happen along the way. And Im sure some wild shit will happen, especially when that many people and places go thru your life. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to leave me a msg or comment here. Thank you |
