mum expired. [EVERYONE]

Althought i am not a fan of either team in the finals. But the layoff between the conference finals and stanley cup playoffs is to long(ottawa last played on may 19th)therefore limiting the quality of the game itself, should the NHL do something about this to better the excitement of the game? Like regular playoff games the Stanley Cup Finals should be played within 2 or 3 days of the last conference finals.
