| I've been struggling with a decision for a while now. My youngest daughter is currently living with her father, my oldest is with me. I waved the child support for my oldest since my youngest moved in with him, I figured it was more than fair. BUT... it was stated in the divorce papers that he was to be responsible for making sure they had medical coverage. This has been a constant struggle, and he's had no part of it at all. I'm seriously considering signing that tiny little piece of paper that says he has to pay the support for my oldest again, just to help with the medical coverage. Which is perfectly legal, mind you, being as that I simply waved the support... he wasn't let completely off the hook. But then I worry this will set off an entirely new war with him, and it's been relatively calm, as of late. So...do I nail him for support on my oldest again? Or do I just let it go, and keep struggling as I have been with the insurance? |
