I'm Still Alive!

I must be....shit's too fucked for me to be dead, lol! Anyways, I'm still alive and around from time to time. Things on my end have been all sorts of life altering...a lot of it bad, and some of it good. Mixed bag that it be, I'd like more 'good' please. Anyways, to all my friends here, I just wanna say thanx for sticking around despite my long, loooong bouts of absence. Oh yeah...I hope this doesn't change anyone's view of me, but I appearance has changed in a big way.

...I cut my hair.

Ducki Sightings!

Hi, sorry I haven't been around much lately, been kinda busy. Still job hunting for something full time, keeping house, going to the gym, and doing artwork (two of my favorite was to fight off a huge case of the "Blah's") as you can guess I'm pretty much beat by day's end. I'll try to show up more often though. I miss the whole lot of you guys! But in the meantime, I've got yard work to do tomorrow so I gots to get me some sleep now.

In the meantime feel free to stop by and give a li'l love! :)

Okay, so i'm reading this article of a woman who was legally packing a side arm and thwarted a car-jacking. Good on her. Now most of the comments weren't in praise of someone defending herself, if any at all. Most of them were the same people crying over gun control, and how the liberal dems are trying to take their constitutional rights away from them blah, blah, blah. Now while these are probably the same people who were all for the last administration's (anti) Patriot Act, it seems their biggest concern is keeping their guns & gettin' MORE of them!  FYI, I have done target practice at the shooting ranges, but I don't own a gun, nor do I intend to. While I totally agree with the right to defend myself, home and loved ones if necessary with a gun, fine. a revolver or semiauto 9 or 10mm pistol is fine. I guess it's the guys that running around buying up assault (style) rifles and ammo who kinda spook me out a bit.

And in regards to the 2nd amendment that's actually more in regards to the states miltia. Especially in a time when your gun was of "one-shot, take a minute or more to prep for the next" technology.

Anyways back to the subject, wouldn't common sense dictate that we try and create a society where car-jackings, or other violent crimes DON'T happen? Seems to me if your society is educated and gainfully employed, & in general is doing well crime, goes down considerably. Now granted that is the broader strokes of a brush on a honking huge canvas but none the less, the most successful countries don't have an eigth of the probelms with crime that we have here. Let alone something that would nuture the feeling of the need to pack a gun.

Oh yeah, for those who feel "When the goverment turns on us, I can fight back!"...yeah, lets treat it like poker shall we? "I'll see your modified assault rifle and Hummer (or the 4 wheel drive vehicle of your choice) & raise you an Apache Long Bow attack helicopter."

Intelligent opposing view points are welcome. "Have at it Hoss!"

Ducki: Reloaded

Comic font!? Awesome!!! It's my favorite font! Lol!

Okay, that bit of random geeky/nerdy silliness aside, I guess it is time i posted something here, bein' that I rarely do.  So for starters, if you haven't seen me around lately, it's because I've been having browser problems. I'm guessing my hotmail addy got phished, so I gotta change  my password and all that other fun stuff...yay.  Anywhoo, the time away gave me time to think...about myself, and exactly how honest I'm being with myself. Well in regards to the female of the species. And the answer is, 'no'.

I've been running around here with my inhibitors on, time to hot the "off" switch on that. So from from this point on, if you're looking uber fucking sexy in your pics, I'll say it straight up, if you're looking like something I'd love to do, again, I'm gonna say it. I guess mainly for the fact that my politness has on more than one ocassion made women feel shy around me, when they're not with other people. Thus my own inhibitors comes back to bite me on the ass....and hard. So if I seem to be a tad more aggressive in my compliments, and comments to the point of being racy, don't be offended or put off, it's my honesty mixed with a health dosage of testosterone.

Just Waking Up....Sorta

Man it's been almost a year since I posted here...wow. Anyways onto the heart of the matter. It's kinda hard to explain....maybe it's the sudden & multiple contacts of people from my past as of lately, or some sort of subconscious reaction of all the different people I've befriended here, and at other websites. Add to the mix a crazy assortment of my real-life friends, and an plethora of things having not gone so well for the past few years now. Take all of that, toss it in a blender set for "WTF!?" And what you get is me, with this almost overpowering feeling running all through me of being at the edge of a big change. I've been dealing with all sorts of shit in my personal life for almost five years now. I've done the bit of asking the bigger questions to myself. Waxing the philosophical, and even getting metaphysical with my myself. The conclusion that I've come to is that I've been surviving which was pretty good all things considered. But I'm done with surviving, I want to LIVE! Which means there's gonna be a lotta people who are in for a surprise. As I sit here typing this out, I can literally feel it in my fingertips. There places I wanna go, people I wanna meet, things I want do, especially with my art! My game face is on, and I'm coming out with both guns blazing. So to all my friends here, old, & new, mad thanks for the inspiration.
I haven't posted in this thing since NOVEMBER...? Geeeez! Well not a too much of anything new with me. Been throwing myself into my artwork. It's helped me deal with a lot of assorted crap that's been flying at me lately. No big deal, after all what doesn't kill you..." etc, etc. Anyways I'll definitely be making it a point to come back more often. I kinda missed the "Fu-ness" Lol1

I'm Still Around

October was kind of a hectic month, basically that's why I haven't been around much. Anyway things are starting to settle a bit, and almost back to "normal". I miss talking with my close friends here. Although not too much has changed, I'm now going to the gym as of this past Monday, lol! Not to "bulk up and hulk out" though. I'm waaaay too lazy for that. Besides I just want some tone, and that's about all. I'm still teaching on weekends at the local artists' guild! That's always fun. Anyways that's pretty much about it on this side of the screen. :)

Sad and Mad

Sad, because a friend of mine is now in "the sandbox". (Iraq) I miss him, and I worry about him too. and I can only imagine the toll it's taking on his mum, and his sibs. I mean I'm proud that he chose his path, and stayed on it. Damn proud! I just hate the fact that he, as well as thousands of others have been thrown into a meat grinder of a war that has no real basis of justification whatsoever. Aside from making the fucking rich war profiteer's even richer. I hate the "Thank you for protecting our freedom." b.s. banners and speeches, when a corrupt goverment has been yanking our freedoms right from underneath us since 9 fucking 11. I could see it if there were still terrorists attacks occurring, I'd be over there as well, right beside him, IF that were the case, but it's not. You can label me as anti-american, or unpatriotic, it won't bother me none. But this much I can say. Part of patriotism should be defined as the ability to question your goverment, when it ignores it's true role to it's citizens, especially when it's also at their expense. Blind faith and devotion is not patriotism, that's just being someone's mind-fuck puppy! I miss Effrain, and I do believe in him, I just hate the bastards who needlessly put him in harm's way for their own agendas. Peace out Eff, and be safe as you can. I'll see you when you get back.
I'm going to be away for awhile, my roomie and closest friend's father passed away this afternoon. So I'll be tied up for a while. Feel free to drop me a message while I'm away though.
Okay, so I finally got my hands on "The Boondocks" box set...good gods! It's funny as hell, but at the same time, it also does a pretty good job of bringing a lotta truths to light. Sometimes it's harsh, and hard to look at it. But the odd and cool part is I can actually say "Damn I have come across this before...in REAL life!" Although I have to admit it picks up where a lot of american entertainment, or animation fears to tread. Black or otherwise. Now I'm sure it won't run as long as "The Simpsons", (which has been on too long) but I definitely see it having way more depth and intelligence. Far more than all of but two other black shows I've seen in a loooong time.
