I will most likely not be here from Tuesday, June 3rd to Thursday, June 5th. My father has a pacemaker and from the results of some tests he received on Friday, it seems that the pacemaker wasn't working properly. He has to go into the hospital Tuesday morning for them to run all of these pre-op tests and then Thursday they are replacing it. I'm not sure if I'll have time to get on here, but if not, I have a copy of the Godfather List in my "fubar" blog, along with the Upper Levels List. But, I'm sure BooBoo will have a handle on that list. I hope you all have a great week.

Some of you might have noticed I haven't been here in a few days. Well here is the reason. Saturday morning here in PA we had on and off showers. By late morning it turned into thunderstorms. It seems that lightning hit a house across the road and it fried the phone lines. Since I use Verizon DSL, I was basically put on a long timeout from the internet. Today is Wednesday, many of you CT addicts know that having no internet for 5 days is no fun. Also the bill to get new lines ran, plus the visit ran over 100 bucks, so its a bad/good day. I also had to buy two new phones because the old ones were fried! I hope others didn't have this kind of problem, its not a good experience.

Finally I have my new computer. What a huge difference in my everyday use of it. I can't forget CT! WOW!!! The only draw back is that I have Vista which I have to get used to since for over 4 years I was a XP user. I notice I can't click on pic links in bulletins for some reason, or use Yahoo Messenger. Other than that, I think it's going to be a better experience online for now on. That is, until this becomes a dinosaur and I need an even faster one. For the computer experts....I got the HP dv9230us model. Thanks to all who helped me make my decision.

Sometime this coming week, I will be getting a new up to date computer. I am currently using a HP P4 2.66Mhz Laptop. I am looking into a HP with an Intel® Core™2 Duo. A T5500 (1.6Ghz) to T7200 (2.0Ghz) processor I will be shopping around though, but if anyone who reads this has any suggestions? I want to be able to have superior performance but at a decent price.
