Ok... so I have a dilema. I have guardianship of my 15 year old brother. His father is in prison, and we don't know where our mother is.
He has been claiming to have been going to school this whole time, and I just recently found out that he has hardly gone at all. They are saying that if I don't resolve it that they can press charges against me. Today, I got a phone call from his Vice Principle saying that he got caught climbing the fence at his school. He refused to go to detention, and cursed at the staff, so they suspended him. When we got home, he refused to stay, and he walked out.
I don't know what I can do... a couple of members of my family are telling me to put him in foster care. I don't really want to do that though... He has had these behavioral problems since he was 5 years old, and I am at the end of my rope. Does anyone know of any other options that I might have?? |
