I have been accepted in to the LDC Family. So far everyone has been great. I can't believe how much support I have gotten already. Honestly, I've been here for a few years now and haven't ever had this much support and love shown to me. Kinda overwhelmed a bit. That's not to say that all of my friends and fans haven't been great. I've made some really great friends here. Hopefully this will be the begining of even more friendships. I look forward to getting to know all my new Family members and recomend that if you want a supportive group of friends that you consider coming over to the LDC. Talk to you soon.

Went to the midnite show of twilight last night with my gf daughter and her friends. I think I was the only guy in the theater. kinda surprised nobody called the cops on me thinking I was a pedophile or something. The movie was actually pretty good. Haven't read the books yet but I think I might give them a shot now. this twilight series looks like it will probably rival the Harry Potter ones. Once again they cast all these 20 something actors to play high school students. I wish they could do a better job with that. either get younger actors or do a better job with the make up. What's gonna happen if they continue this series and edward has a full head of gey hair but he's only 17? Also saw a preview for the new Harry Potter movie. That looks pretty good too. They're getting a little too old to keep up the teenager image too. thery're gonna have to pick up the pace or recast the rest of those movies.

This has got to be one of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks. I came across it at a buddies house when he was throwing a cockail party. They were using it as a mixer but since I was driving I just had it straight. It's basically carbonated water and orange juice. It's supposed to be healthier than soda cuz it's juice but I don't even care about that. If you like orange soda give this a try. Even if you don't, check it out. Haven't been around much lately. Works starting to pick up again. I am so relieved. I ended up taking a month long forced and unpaid vacation. Even now it's still kinda slow but we got a bunch of stuff in the works. I also wanted to comment on all the people that have been putting out for the happy hour. You guys are the shit. I try to get over to their pages and give them props but I know I have missed a bunch of them. Anyways, thanks. A good friend of mine from the Marines just joined us. His link is at the bottom. Well today I finally got back to work. It's only been two weeks! January always sucks in the flooring biz. I've even resorted to putting in "cold" bids on jobs I've seen posted on Craigslist. Next year I gotta plan better. I wouldn't say my bank account is empty but it's not like I'm going to be able to take off to the French Riviera anytime soon either. Wah, wah, wah. Seems like all I ever do on this blog is bitch. Everybody must think I'm a miserable prick. I'm really not though. I guess it's just easier to whine about what's wrong than it is to appreciate everything that's good. I'm gonna have to work on that. I guess I'll end with an oldy but a goody tonight. So I did the DOND thing today. I was on my feet for about seven and a half hours waiting in line. It's times like this that I start to question the extent of my brain injury during the accident. I don't know any official numbers but I would guess about ten to twelve thousand people showed up today. My feet and legs and back are so sore from standing around so long. At the end of it all it was kind of anti-climactic. You went in front of a guy in groups of ten and everyone got thirty seconds to explain who they were. After that they thanked you for your patience and sent you out the back door. I guess I can always say that I did it even if I don't get picked. I'm tired and sore so I'm going to bed. Keep it real. Well, it's Friday night and I'm gettin ready for bed but I wanted to try and get in a blog before I turn in for the night. I finally got a family member. Dirty Fairy added me to her family so now I'm cool. She's actually a real sweetheart. Not looking to have a million friends or whoring herself out for points. any way, thanks. So I found out that they are having a casting call for Deal Or No Deal and 1 Vs. 100 tomorrow down in Boston. Everybody says I should go down so wish me luck. I'm not sure which show I would want. DOND looks like it would be fun but 1Vs. 100 seems like a sure thing as far as the money goes. You gotta be pretty careless to lose on that one. I probably won't get picked for either but it's kinda like Powerball, fun to play the what if game. What else? I'm in the process of trying to sell my bike. The wife is scared shitless I'm gonna get in another accident. I always said I would never let a woman take away my motorcycle but that was before I met someone I really cared about. When I do sell it I'm gonna get the biggest, baddest, loudest truck I can find. Really I do need a new truck for work so in a way it is kinda practical to sell it. It's tough selling a bike when it's only 6 degrees outside. People are looking for good deals on flights to Aruba not motrcycles. Since I don't want to get rid of it I guess I can wait for the right offer. well, I guess that's all for now. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. And if you do, name it after me. Jon

Another day and the F'ing capenters still aren't done yet. I am goin stir crazy sitting around the house. At least I got the Tap to keep me occupied. The crazy thing is that I'll probably be overbooked by February. It's feast or famine. I'm sitting here trying to think of anything going on I can include here but I didn't even leave the house yesterday. I didn't even get out of my PJ's. Just watched TV and surfed the net all day. I did get a weird phone call yesterday. Actually It started on Monday. Some lady called and left a message for Ben. I have no idea who Ben is so I called back to tell them they had a wrong number. Aguy answered the phone and I tried to explain but he got mad and handed the phone to the woman that called me. I told her she had a wrong number and she apologized. On Tuesday the guy that had answered the phone calls me allpissed off and asks for Marlene and says "tell her to come home," and then hangs up on me. I called back to tell him he's got the wrong number and he says, "whatever, just send her home and hangs up again. She's probably having an affair and now this guy thinks it's with me. Could be a story there. Maybe I'll write it up and send it to the guys at CSI or Law and Order or something. Anyway, I guess that's it for today. Well another day. I’ve had a lot of free time lately cuz I’m waiting for the carpenters to finish framing a job of mine. Guess I’m not the only one that spent too much over Christmas. Nobody wants to have tile work done right now. Thinkin I might sell some blood or something J/K. At least I get to chill out at home and play with the dog and the kids. Anyway enough of my whining. At least I'm not over in Iraq trying to win the hearts and minds of people that despise me. I'll be honest, I don't miss those days. Actually in a weird sort of way I do miss them a little. I'd like to think what I did in the Corps made at least a little bit of a difference. It's funny how you can make the best of any situation when you have to. Even when it was at it's worst we still managed to have at least a little bit of fun, even if it was just busting each others balls. I really seem to be rambling today. Honestly I'm not on meth or anything. It's probably cuz I haven't been sleeping well lately. On top of all the usual aches and pains from my bike wreck I think I pinched a nerve in my neck and I haven't had feeling in my left hand for about two weeks. I keep waking up and shifting postion in the middle of the night. wah wah wah. Gotta find something to keep me busy today. It's snowing out so I guess I'll have to go fire up the snow blower and clear the driveway and sidewalks. If we don't clear the sidewalks in front of our house the town will give you a ticket. I'll probably try and get Duke in the tub. That's always fun. He's not bad once I get him in. It's just getting him in there that's a challenge. After that who knows. Depends on how sore my leg is today. Ill probably just listen to Stern and then veg out in front of the TV. Beetlejuice is on Stern right now and he always makes me smile. Guess I'll wrap up for now. Feel like I need a good sign off phrase. I'll have to work on that. Maybe I'll try a few and if anyone is reading this you can give me some input. Keep the shiny side up Jon

Well, it's now quarter to seven in the morning and I've been up for more than 3 hours. Apparently Duke was so distraught about the Pats losing to the Colts that he had to wake the whole house up at 3:30 A fucking M to complain about it. Oh well, at least I'm still able to get up every day. This is my first blog and I don't know if I'll keep up with it but I've been toying with the idea for a few weeks now. Oh shit I just realized I'm missing Stern. Gotta log in real quick. That's better. Where was I, oh yeah, will I blog consistantly. It seems like something I want to do right now but 4 days from now I might hate it. I'll just do it for now and see how it plays out. I'm not sure how long this should be so I guess I'll just stop when I run out of either time or thoughts. I do want to put in writing, even if no one sees it, that I still support Tom Brady and the rest of the Patriots. That was one hell of a game last night. I thought they were gonna pull it off right up until the end. High pitch Eric is one sick bastard. Just heard him on Stern. Anyway, It's getting to be time to get ready for work so I guess I'll wrap it up.
