We are a local band from Lincoln, Nebraska. We started jamming together shortly after the new year. We recorded a 5 song EP the day before Easter and played our first show on May 2nd.

the idle minds are a unique blend of many different genres which we have named midwest dub-rock. 7 members makes for an interesting sound. Take 311, Sublime, Slipknot, RunDMC, Twista, and some crazy turntabalism, and you have the idle minds.
