People think this same-sex marriage an attack on religion. It's the opposite, it's the enforcement of "freedom of religion" to those of a minority religion or no religion. I am now permitted in this state to perform marriages according to my beliefs, as other Pagans did centuries ago. And for the people who are part of a monotheistic "Abrahamic" religion, your rights are not, and should not, be infringed upon. If your religion says homosexuality is a sin, you don't need to marry someone of the same sex. Your Priest, Preacher, Rabbi, or Imam should in no way be required to perform these marriages if they do not wish to. I have no issue with that. You practice your religion, I'll practice mine, others practice theirs, and do not encroach on each other's beliefs.
