I am a member of the Rural Fire Service (RFS).
My plan is to get my HR licence and drive the fire truck.
Every time my girlfriend ,who is also in the RFS, and I talk about it we get a negative reaction from the men.
Now as far as i know there are no woman in the mountains who have their HR licence.
And it wasn't all that long ago that the woman were only aloud to make sandwiches at the fire ground.
But now we are allowed to fight fire we should be allowed to show our full potential surely.
So my question is should I go for it or stay clear of what is predominately a mans domain. |
