Sir Arnauld is home at long last
The battles fought now in the past
Lady Abigail is relieved he is safe
Being uncertain, her nerves did chafe
*
Sir Arnauld must now decide his future
And he was looking for a different adventure
One which included the lady of his heart
The Lady Abigail would give his life a new start
*
Sir Arnauld must petition now to his King
Convince him that Lady Abigail must wear his ring
The King listened to Arnauld state his plea
The love Arnauld had was so plain to see
*
The King bade Abigail to come before him
To see if her love for arnauld was a whim
The King would see if her feelings were true
Would he allow them their dream to pursue
*
The king knew that Arnauld was his best Knight
And he wanted to make his future bright
So he gave his blessings to allow them to wed
For Arnauld enough blood had been shed
*
The banners were hung announcing the news
The glad tidings across the land flew
People traveling to the castle from far and near
For Sir Arnauld and Lady Abigail were much revered
*
Lady Abigail, getting air on the balcony stood
All of a sudden there was a commotion in the wood
The Dragon was huge and quick on the fly
As he swooped down upon her from the sky
*
Off he flew clutching Abigail in his great claws
With a roar and fire coming from his huge jaws
Abigail screaming for Arnauld to help her
For Arnauld it was so quick it was a blur
*
His Lady was gone in the blink of an eye
Carried by the Dragon into the sky
Leaping astride his great steed off he rode
He felt the fear in him about to explode
*
What is in store for the Lady of his heart
Whence came the Dragon that tore them apart
Will Sir Arnauld be able to save his heart’s lady
For the answer we shall have to wait and see
*
