Well, folks, it has been a while... nearly a year I think since I've been around here. Life kind of gets in the way, sometimes.

So what have I been doing?

Surviving. That's about all.

I've just recently moved to Humble, Tx. They closed the office that I was working at in Ohio, so I came where the money was, I reckon. Maybe it's a better fit down here than it was back home.

However, in doing so, I had to make the hardest decision of my life... leaving my family behind... especially changing custody arrangements for my son.

Long story short, I've recently acquired the knowledge that my son brought a lot more fun and joy into my life, that even I didn't know, and I miss having him around dearly.

On the lighter side of things... he is doing excellent in school, and he's really impressed me with his understanding and excitement to come visit.

At any rate: The ABOUT ME portion of this "blabathon":

I'm divorced... I work hard... I am and always will be a hopeless romantic. I write poetry and songs. I play the guitar. I have a slightly twisted sense of humor that can sometimes be sharper than a knife. No intention of hurting anyone's feelings, but sometimes, things are just funny.

I will make fun of myself... because if you can't find humor in yourself, then you're not living life. Things happen, everyone has a fault or 20.... but in the end, it's the laughter that brings out the best in all of us.

So, if you're interested in talking to a bald, fat guy (and I do have all my teeth, sorry ladies) hit me up. I can hold a decent conversation and I can absolutely hold my own on a battle of wits.

They say there's someone for everyone... well in my case, my someone will get two people.
