Well, did the 1st day at the new job. Other than the 90 minute commute in, including 45 minutes in a dark subway tunnel stop, the day went pretty well. Getting used to "government work." Still trying to figure this place out. Some pages are damn hard to read, and I still wish there was a way to read all my friends blogs easily. Thanks to all my friends out there, and still wondering if people might be interested in a local gathering. Maybe when I get high enough Cherry I'll send out a Mumm.

So, I start a new job tomorrow, back into the world of the working stiff. Well, at least I'll be able to pay rent :). Probably won't be on here during the day much until I get established. Might pop on during the early morning. Was wondering whether there have been any "regional cherrytap get togethers." Don't know whether there are enough people in the D.C. area that might be interested. Maybe dinner, pool, Dave and Buster's who knows. If you're interested in a D.C. get together let me know. Still exploring the "stuff" here. Surprised more people aren't using blogs. Though I do wish there was a way I could read all of my friends blogs without clicking through each of them individually.

I'm back from the weekend, woohoo! I've upload several photos of the event I was at, and probably will add more. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

So far, I have to admit this site has a ton. The chat rooms are a a tad annoying, as are the unusually wide pages (guess I'm due for a 21" monitor). I'd love to see a decent audio or video chat application built in. Stickam's is nice, but way to many teenagers for my tastes.

I'm out of town from Thursday afternoon to Sunday night, so if you don't hear from me, don't worry.

Somehow this isn't unexpected.

Yeah I know, I'm posting all the time, but I'm home, and its ice stormish outside. I've put a chatroom in my stash that's more functional than the lounges here, if anyone wants to use it.

Okay, I know it's sexist, but its too funny anyway.

So I'm looking for a theme for my cherry pages that is pretty readable. This one seems to work, but is pretty boring. But I also don't want something that's got a color scheme, or background images that are illegible. I'm also seeing everything on a screen that's "too wide" so I have to scrol from side to side. I suppose its my old 15" monitor. Suggestions?
