In my diploma in criminology I have studied John Does... this one I find fascinating...
a man left a Grateful Dead concert in 1995 with no pocessions. He hitch hiked and the car crashed, him and the driver died. The family of the driver did not know who the passenger was. He was between 18 and 24 with long brown hair. He has been dead 13 years and no one has claimed the body... he had a note on him saying "to Jason, sorry we had to leave, Caroline O and Caroline T" he literally had nothing else.
How can someone that age be unidentified? The case is not well known it seems... his parents probably thought he ran away and hasn't bothered contacting them, not knowing hes dead. At that age he only left school a few years ago SOMEONE must know who he is. Its sad. Look him up... "Jason Doe" they have a pic as to what he may have looked like. The crash caused major facial disfiguration so it can't be seen as 100% accurate.
Theres another intriguing one... "Princess Doe" a woman around 18 murdered and left in a cemetary... she was VERY beautiful. I can almost understand the small children not being identified, they were probably not birth registered, but someone in their teens and 20s etc has lived their lives SOMEONE must know who they are.
Its really sad...
