Interests
I love to read and write. Two of my favorite authors are Stephen King and Dean Koontz, and I've read and relished many of their books. The Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling currently stand as my favorite series. I really like the Bible, and anything that catches my interest and makes me think. Being a writer myself, I am fascinated with words, and really appreciate good writing. My two favorite games of all time are tennis and pool. I played tennis in high school and college, and even though I'm not all that great and don't play much anymore, it's always good to step back on the court. Aside from that I like the usual stuff, movies and music.
Music
My interest in music is a bit narrower than movies. I grew up listening to what is now classic rock and country. I mostly listen to rock now, but am open to anything good. I tend to like bands with an original sound. A few of my favorite artists of all time are Metallica, Johnny Cash and Nirvana.
Movies
That's a tough one, because sometimes movies really surprise me. As I get older, movies with incredible acting tend to attract me the most. I recently saw the first two "Godfather" movies, and was amazed. Marlon Brando and Al Pacino are so fantastic, perhaps the two greatest movie actors ever. You know an actor or a movie is good when you get so wrapped up in what you are watching that you lose track of time. But really, I love pretty much any kind of movie.

The often-misunderstood Jesus Christ.
Video Games
I have absolutely nothing against video games, but can't really remember the last time I played one. I'll get back into them again someday, I'm sure.
