Kills silently day or night
Most will lose, no matter how hard they fight
For many years it lives on, as many fears
In less off countries the number of deaths are much higher it appears
Their is no cure, only hope for the hiv
To prevent the condition from going to aids, the potential end of the road that many see
The cost to survive it is high and far from cheap
Many cannot foot the bill, a price too steep
From one person to another and some other ways
This is spreading like wild fire, effecting everyone not just gays
Millions have it and many more will die
From a painfull and terrible disease, a sad goodbye
In the 1980's the world became aware
Of this disease which quickly caused a scare
The immune system take the fall
From head to toe, the body slowly hits the wall
A future vaccine has been under way
May take time to create many researchers and scientist say
Some other ways have been tried
Acupuncture, herbal medicines and vitamin suppliments still not much results reside
Ever thought about a present day plague to take a world wide toll?
Hmm we have one that is spinning out of control
